US: SRI investors target lobby group members over climate change
A number of socially responsible investor groups have criticised companies that have a progressive position on climate change but which remain members of the Board of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). According to the group, NAM lobbies for measures to weaken EPA regulations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

France: 45 percent support workers who kidnap bosses
An opinion poll has shown that 45 percent of French citizens believe that radical action by workers facing pay cuts or redundancies to kidnap their bosses to force concessions is acceptable. 50 percent believe it to be unacceptable.
US: 3M relaunches
3M is relaunching the Scotchguard brand with an environmentally friendly product two years after voluntarily pulling it for environmental reasons.
